Boot issues

Not bootable

The flashed image must be built using wic. You should not flash images that are in $POKY/build/tmp/deploy/images.

This can also be due to a mis configured bootloader.

Nothing on screen (happens randomly)

It is caused by the kernel boot command line options. In the WKS file used to generate the final image, you must give the option vga=current (instead of vga=0x318 or anything else).
